Beach bars keep rocking with Turkey Eve parties, fireworks and more. Here's the slate.

After an extremely robust shoulder season, the majority of fall festivals at Delmarva’s beaches are done entertaining the masses. However, locals and weekend warriors have some live music events to look forward to now — as well as an annual pre-holiday tradition during the middle of next week.

Rehoboth Beach hot spots keep rocking through November

In downtown Rehoboth Beach, Freddie’s Beach Bar (which is located at the original site of The Pond nightclub) will present a free show by Annapolis-based power trio Honey Sol from 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. It’s the first coastal Sussex County appearance in quite some time for the group, which mixes styles including rock and R&B.

Also in downtown Rehoboth, the Cultured Pearl restaurant will get a head start on the Thanksgiving merriment this weekend with a sold-out afternoon event with a twist. Local singer-guitarist Alex Razze will play music from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19. as diners feast on plant-based morsels during the annual VegRehoboth ThanksLiving Dinner.

Fireworks and much more as beach bars celebrate 'Turkey Eve'

Nightspots everywhere are prepping for the revelers who will hit the town Wednesday, Nov. 22 — one of the biggest party nights of the year, and one which is referred to by bar owners as Turkey Eve. Expect a lot of dance parties with DJs or Top-40 cover bands.

Kristen & the Noise will perform at the Paradise Grill in Long Neck from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22. The band's performance will be followed by a fireworks display over the bay at 9 p.m.

The Paradise Grill, located in Pot-Nets Bayside off Long Neck Road, will no doubt be packed to the rafters next Wednesday when it presents a free show by one of the East Coast’s premiere party bands. Philly-area favorite Kristen & the Noise, which has rocked beach audiences for many years, will play from 6-9 p.m.

Then a fireworks display will take place over the bay just after 9 p.m. In Dewey Beach next Wednesday, the Rusty Rudder will host a freebie by the high-energy country act Triple Rail Turn from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Tickets on sale now for Rusty Rudder's big Winter Beach Bash

In other Rudder news, tickets have gone on sale for its fifth annual Surfgimp Foundation Winter Beach Bash. This year’s fundraiser will take place from 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, with music from Just the Tip (with former Mr. Greengenes vocalist Bryen O’Boyle at the microphone).

General admission tickets are $90, but there are VIP packages going all the way up to $1,500. Proceeds will benefit disabled people pursuing athletic activities such as swimming and surfing; the foundation honors the memory of the late Jay Liesener of Milton.

Ocean City's Seacrets announces lineup for big holiday bash

In Ocean City, the entertainment lineup has been unveiled for next month’s annual holiday bash at Seacrets. The Ocean 98 & Seacrets Listener & Appreciation Christmas Party will take place at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15.

Performers include Ted Bowne of Passfire; Nelly’s Echo; Howi Spangler from Ballyhoo; No Right Way; The Rogue Citizens; and headliner Love Seed Mama Jump. Admission is free, but patrons are asked to bring a new, unwrapped gift to be donated to the Toys For Tots charity.
