‘The Bay’ Casts Patrick Muldoon & Jennifer Taylor As Mike Manning’s Parents

EXCLUSIVE: The Bay character Caleb McKinnon is about to come face-to-face with the parents who abandoned him in the upcoming season.

Patrick Muldoon (Melrose Place) and Jennifer Taylor (Two and a Half Men) are joining the Popstar TV! sudser as the conservative dad and mom to McKinnon (Mike Manning), who lost touch with his parents after they essentially abandoned him when he married Daniel Garrett (Eric Nelsen).

In other casting updates, Rhonda Ross (Another World) is joining the soap as Coleen Givens, the biological mother of Pete Garrett’s (Kristos Andrews) wife Vivian (Karrueche Tran). Garrett goes on the search for Colleen after Vivian becomes ill. Colleen is a jazz singer who gave Vivian up for adoption at birth and resurfaces in Bay City this season as the only hope to save her.

Vivian was adopted by police captain Mackenzie Johnson, who will now be played by Gordon Thomson (Dynasty).

The Bay also recently announced the cast additions of Dee Wallace (E.T.), Olivia D’Abo (The Wonder Years), Tristan Mack Wilds (90210), and Daytime Emmy-winner Jordi Vilasuso (The Young and the Restless).

The Bay is written and directed by Gregori J. Martin and produced by LANY Entertainment in association with She Mogul Media. Episodes air weekdays on Popstar! TV and are later made available on demand on Tubi, Amazon Prime, and more.

The series received 5 Daytime Emmy nominations this year, including Outstanding Drama Series, writing, and directing.
