The upcoming Super Bowl 58 commercial for Doritos features multiple dynamic duos... and of course, numerous flavors of chips.

The Frito-Lay brand has been part of the Big Game ad space for years. The teaser for its 2024 feature had already revealed that up-and-coming star from "Scream" and "Wednesday," Jenna Ortega, would headline it.

But we were left with plenty of questions from the preview:

With the full-length commercial now unveiled, it is revealed that "Dina & Mita" are the main duet.

As the teaser shows, Lay's will be displaying off their line of rolled crisps, Doritos Dinamita. The name turned out to be inspirational.

Dina (Patricia Mauceri) and Mita (Olivia Negron) are introduced in the extended minute-long ad as Ortega's fictional grandmothers.

Then the Hollywood duo is completed by Danny Ramirez from "Top Gun: Maverick," as he enters the equation alongside Ortega.

A battle for the ages between Ramirez and the grandmothers, which includes everything from high-speed chases and motorized scooters for the elders, unfolds. Meanwhile, Ortega is oblivious to the chaos.

There's also another bit of a twist included. The preview plays up Ortega's experience appearing in horror-based entertainment. Instead, the spot takes a Latino-inspired route.

“Doritos has been a key player in Super Bowl Sunday for the past 24 years – from our iconic TV commercials to our wide range of flavors enjoyed at watch parties across the country. We’re excited to blow up expectations with our first-ever Doritos Dinamita commercial, unveiling four new flavors and new sticks by authentically celebrating our fans’ demand for unexpected flavor and spice," Frito-Lays CMO Brett O'Brien said.

The Coachella Valley might end up cheering more during the commercial than the actual game to support La Quinta native Ortega. The young actress attended Amelia Earhart Elementary School and John Glenn Middle School before her career took off. But she recently made her way back to her roots by celebrating the world premiere of her latest film, "Miller's Girl," with fellow cast and crew members during the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

The bold ideas Doritos have come up in the past have fared well on Ad Meter. Panelists selected Doritos as the top ad during Super Bowls in 2009 and 2012.

Doritos will aim to get back to the top following Super Bowl 58 between the Chiefs and 49ers on Feb. 11. The extended version can be found below:
