  • Lego sets tend to come out during holiday gifting season, and this one is no exception; it goes on sale on Black Friday, November 29.

  • It's an incredibly detailed, 3306-piece replica of the Batmobile as seen in the 1989 Tim Burton movie Batman.

  • Priced at $249.99, it's clearly aimed at adults more than kids, but for the price you get Batman, Joker, and Vicki Vale figures and a rotating stand.

For Black Friday shopping, you can't get much blacker than this monochromatic Batmobile in Legos, fully accessorized with characters, weapons, and a rotating stand that you also have to build. There's an attached information plate with the car's statistics, too.

It's not cheap, even for a 3300-piece Lego set—priced at $249.99—but it's also a detailed replica of the 1989 Batmobile from the Tim Burton movie. Setting it apart from the standard kid's toy are features including a slide-open cockpit, a wraparound windshield, and a pair of hidden pop-up machine guns. As a matter of fact, Lego calls it a "model car kit for adults." So admit it, you'd build that.

The weapons on board are the Batarang and a gun for Batman and a gun for the Joker. Vicki Vale only gets a camera. The car has hidden machine guns that pop up when you rotate the turbine exhaust, plus a pair of grappling hooks—which Lego points out are only "decorative"—and Bat logos on the wheels.

The rotating display stand, made of Lego bricks, says "I have not grown up." We don't know what the Batman (with period-authentic cape), Joker, and Vicki Vale minifigures say, but they're all included in the price, too.

The 1989 Batmobile's measurements are 23 inches long, eight inches wide, and four inches high. It can be ordered from Lego.com or purchased at stores that carry Lego products starting November 29.
