Batman: Caped Crusader is billed as “a reimagining of the Batman mythology” with J.J. Abrams, The Batman director Matt Reeves and Batman: The Animated Series veteran Bruce Timm all on board as executive producers. Along with billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, aka crime-fighting superhero Batman, the series will feature fan-favorite characters like Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman), Harley Quinn, Commissioner Jim Gordon and Clayface.

“Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear,” the official synopsis reads. “Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human — the BATMAN. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.”
