“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada is demanding her co-star OG be kept away and has filed for a restraining order.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Lozada filed documents in Los Angeles Court against Ogom “OG” Chijindu.
Lozada accuses OG of harassing behavior and wants a judge to order her to stay away.
A hearing will be set where a judge will look over the petition.
As The Blast first reported, Lozada was being advised to take out a restraining order against OG, following her co-star’s alleged reunion show meltdown.
Sources close to Lozada told us she is concerned about OG’s "mental state". We’re told people close to Evelyn have been advising her to take out a restraining order against OG. They believe the posts are harassing and entice others.
She took issue with a series of tweets by OG which accused Lozada of being racist and a bigot. In the suit, Lozada says “This entire defamatory statement is false as stated” by OG. She claims her co-star even her statements were false when she said them.
In the suit, Lozada points out she is of Hispanic descent and her 2 children are of African and Hispanic descent. She also is the chairperson of the Evelyn Lozada Foundation which raises money for domestic violence victims.
As a result of the statements, Lozada claims she has,” sustained serious financial harm through loss of income as well as serious and permanent injuries.”
She is suing for unspecified damages. The lawsuit was filed by powerhouse attorney, Corey Boddie.
