Another Instagram post made by WNBA star Satou Sabally from her friend's special day shows 32-year-old Grasu, an NFL player, wearing black pants and a white tuxedo jacket. In the post, she also shares a fun video of the newlyweds clapping and showing off their moves on the dance floor as the guests around them wave their napkins in the air.

Sabally also shared a photo of her and Ionescu inside the reception, raising their hands to form "O" in the air, commemorating their alma mater. She also gave a sneak peek into the reception's romantic decor, which included table centerpieces of white roses.

"To an everlasting bond of love what an amazing wedding of two very special people, a weekend full of two very special people, a weekend full of smiles and happy tears," Sabally captioned her post.

Back in January, Ionescu posted photos on Instagram from her bridal shower. In the post, she shared a series of photos of herself posing with her friends and family in front of a pink, purple, and white balloon arch. She also showed off the dessert table, which included stacks of donuts and pink and purple cake pops.

"Bride to be," she captioned her post.

Only a year before, in January 2023, Grasu, popped the question with an elaborate rooftop proposal.

Ionescu announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos showing Grasu down on one knee surrounded by flowers and candles. “It’s always us🤍 here’s to forever with you – 1.20.23 #finally,” she wrote in the caption.

She revealed more details about their engagement in a TikTok. Initially, she thought she was going to a GQ photo shoot, but in reality, Grasu had planned out an elaborate proposal with her agents to surprise her.

“I was completely shocked and caught off guard because he played it off so well,” she said. Afterward, their friends and family came in a party bus to celebrate with the happy couple. “I couldn’t stop taking pictures with my ring,” she said, adding, “this night was just so special.”
