A basketball signed by an unlikely starting five has hit the auction block, where the bidding topped $17,000 Friday night.

The used rock was autographed by former President Barack Obama, NBA stars LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, Hall of Famer Magic Johnson and the late Kobe Bryant following a 2010 pickup game, according to Heritage Auctions.

That historic ballgame reportedly honored Obama’s 49th birthday.

“One of the perks of being president is, you can invite people to the White House and they show up,” the 44th president said about that game.

He also said Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose — who have Chicago roots like Obama — showed up to shoot hoops in the nation’s capital.

Obama wrote in his 2020 memoir “A Promised Land” that when he was in office, his personal aide would organize private games for the president and running mates that included guys in their 20s and 30s who had played college ball in some cases. He said those shootouts took place at locations including the Fort McNair Army Base and FBI headquarters.

“Those pickup games represented continuity for me, a tether to my old self,” Obama recalled.

Bidding on the 49th birthday game ball runs through the end of February.
