Barry Williams let his dance partner down. Literally.

On Tuesday night's Disney 100th anniversary-themed episode of Dancing With the Stars, the Brady Bunch actor had a bit of a mishap on the dance floor. He missed a step in his jazz dance to "He's a Tramp" from Lady and the Tramp, and nearly dropped partner Peta Murgatroyd on the ballroom floor.

Murgatroyd attempted to go into what appeared to be a cartwheel or a lift of some kind, but Williams got his hands on her too late and she fell out of the move without the support of his frame. Judge Bruno Tonioli specifically called out the error, saying, "It started very, very well. I loved the concept, he's the tramp, the jazz hands and razzle dazzle. And you went for it. Unfortunately, you got your hands [intermingled] with Peta; I don't know what was going on."

"She nearly fell on the floor by the way," Tonioli concluded. "After that you tried to catch up, you covered it well, but hey, it's show business, guys!"

Julianne Hough asked Williams and Murgatroyd for more details on the mishap in the sky box after the dance routine. Williams explained, "We got behind in the beat, so we lost a move, but we picked it up."

Williams has been an eager participant since the start of season 32, even if he doesn't always get a ton of love from the judges. He and Murgatroyd got a score of 18 points for their jazz routine, falling in the rankings after their 25 out of 40 score on last week's Motown night.

In spite of the mishap, Williams was pleased with his performance because of a longstanding connection to jazz as a dance style. Williams dedicated his performance to legendary choreographer and director Bob Fosse, who cast Williams in one of his first as the title character in a touring production of Broadway's Pippin.

Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, and streams the following day on Hulu.
