Barry Williams is dancing his way into his 70s!

Following his shocking elimination from Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday alongside partner Peta Murgatroyd, The Brady Bunch alum revealed to PEOPLE how he will continue to honor his passion for dance on his upcoming birthday.

“I'm booking a cruise,” Williams tells PEOPLE. “For my 70th birthday, I'm booking a cruise with a ballroom on it.”

Referring to his wife of six years, Tina Mahina, the actor continues: “And my wife and I are going to learn some routines and I'm going to have Peta choreograph a couple of numbers and email them to me.”

Murgatroyd teased that she would even choreograph a dance for Williams and his wife if they decide to renew their vows at some point in the future. The pro dancer got to know Mahina, who is also a professional dancer, when she made a cameo on the hit dance show to help teach a lesson.

“It was fantastic,” Williams recalls. “It was very special to make her part of this show and this family. I think she had really good advice and it raised the level of our performance.”

Williams also opened up about the “biggest lesson” he learned from his DWTS experience, which was to not be so hard on himself.

“Being good to myself, turning down the self-critical knob, keeping my attitude positive and looking forward to making things better and improving, rather than [saying], ‘What the heck happened on the last one?’” he says.
