Barry Manilow Rushed to Hospital With Oral Surgery Complications
Legendary crooner Barry Manilow was rushed to the hospital on the evening of Wednesday, February 10, due to complications from an oral surgery he had earlier in the week.

The “Copacabana” singer performed at his sold-out concert in Memphis, Tennessee, but was forced to swiftly return to Los Angeles immediately after the gig, to seek medical attention for post-surgery complications, a message posted on his Facebook page on Thursday, February 11, revealed.
“Barry Manilow was rushed back to Los Angeles due to complications from emergency oral surgery that Manilow had on Monday,” the statement read, adding that his concert that evening in Highland Heights, [Kentucky], and on Friday in Nashville, were being rescheduled.

“Ticket holders should retain their existing tickets for redemption on the night of the new date,” the message continued, before casting doubt on the 72-year-old singer’s likelihood of appearing at the 2016 Grammys on Monday, February 15.
“At this time it is unclear if Manilow will be able to attend the Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15th where he is nominated for his 15th Grammy Award for his latest album, My Dream Duets,” the message concluded.
Manilow has suffered a number of health scares during his career, and has to undergo regular dental treatment after a benign tumor ruptured in his mouth in 1986.

His publicist, Victoria Varela, insisted the singer was doing fine however, telling CNN he was still “perfectly healthy” and has now left hospital. “Other than the dental issue, he is doing great,” she added.
