Don’t miss what is supposed to be Barry Manilow’s last concert in Des Moines in August.

The 15-time Grammy-nominated performer comes to the Wells Fargo Arena on Aug. 1 for “The Last Des Moines Concert.”

Manilow’s artistry has spanned theater with the musical “Copacabana” to television specials and music, with chart toppers “I Write The Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” “Could It Be Magic,” “Mandy” and more.

In 2002, Manilow was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Over the course of his career, Manilow has written songs for Dionne Warwick, Bette Midler and Melissa Manchester, according to American Songwriter.

At 80, Manilow is performing shows across the Midwest leading up to his Des Moines concert.
