One of Elvis Presley's many record-setting achievements is getting "All Shook Up" by Barry Manilow.

This past weekend, the "Copacabana" icon was presented with a key to the Las Vegas strip as he played his 637th show at the Westgate Resort & Casino — beating Presley's record for most concerts at the venue, set by his 636-date residency from 1969-1976.

Manilow, 80, shared a video from the monumental show to social media on Sept. 23, and the venue was adorned with celebratory decorations. "Welcome to our record-breaking weekend," he told the audience in the clip.

"Tonight we are breaking his record with our 637th show here," said Manilow, who was joined on stage by multiple individuals from the Westgate and the Clark County Commission to receive the key. Additionally, Sept. 23 was declared "Barry Manilow Day" in Las Vegas.

During the record-breaking concert, Manilow donned a red jacket from Presley's 1977 tour with his signature "TCB" lightning bolt logo on the sleeve and performed covers of "Hound Dog," "Can't Help Falling In Love" and "If I Can Dream," which he previously included on the 1990 album Live on Broadway.

"It really is all about you guys," he reportedly told fans at the show, per NPR. "You know I love all the awards and all, but I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. Thank you for coming tonight and through all the years."

To honor Presley's legacy, all of Manilow's shows at the Westgate from Sept. 21-23 saw proceeds donated to the following charities: Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center, Manilow Music Project, Musicians on Call, Three Square, Victoria’s Voice and Youth Villages.

In a recent interview about the achievement with Las Vegas Review-Journal, Manilow spoke about how despite performing at the same venue, there aren't many similarities between him and Presley's performances.

"What he did was so far away from what I do that I really don’t even consider us in competition. He was an inventor of a style of music," he told the outlet. "You’ve got to give him credit for that. And I was an inventor of my kind of music, with the big ballads and the big backbeats. That’s the only thing we have in common. I just admired his fame and his talent."

Manilow has performed at the Westgate for 14 years, and he recently announced a string of new dates for 2024.
