Barry Manilow announces last concerts at OKC and Tulsa arenas: What you need to know

Barry Manilow will turn Oklahoma City's Paycom Center and then Tulsa's BOK Center into the Copacabana one last time.

The most successful adult contemporary recording artist of all time, Manilow, 80, announced Tuesday that he is returning to OKC Aug. 17 to play his final concert at Paycom Center.

The Songwriters Hall of Famer will return to Oklahoma to perform his last show at Tulsa's BOK Center on Aug. 23.

The music icon will play his hits like “Copacabana (At the Copa),” “Can’t Smile Without You,” “Looks Like We Made It," “This One’s for You” and “Mandy."

Through his seven-decade career, the performer, composer arranger and producer has sold more than 85 million albums worldwide. Manilow is one of the world's all-time bestselling recording artists.

The Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winner has scored 51 Top 40 singles, including 12 No. 1s and 27 Top 10 hits.
