Gorgeous steampunk soulsborne title Lies of P got a new trailer at E3 2023 which brought us a look at some beautiful set pieces as well as a release date. Lies of P is launching on September 19 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This does technically represent a small delay to the release as it was originally penned for August of this year.

The release date trailer shows portrays the bleak yet visually appealing clockwork world of the game, reminiscent of Nier: Automata and Bioshock in its eerie yet compelling melancholy. Clockwork limbs, unexplained magical crystals, and technological marvels are par for the course in Lies of P, alongside battle umbrellas and weaponized mechanical sharks.

Also revealed was the presence of a demo for the game which is available right now -on PC (steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The demo will consist of the first two chapters of the game and give us a sizeable glimpse into the Pinocchio-inspired story, as well as weapons, and the combat. You'll also get to experience what the location of the city of Krat has to offer with game promising area with loads to discover.

And that's still not all! We also got a look at some editions that are going to be up for pre-order too. As well as a standard physical edition for the game (which is available for pre-order), there's also going to be a fancy deluxe edition too (not yet available for pre-order just yet). The latter is going to get you a steelbook case, a hardcover art book, and a physical soundtrack - along with a bunch of digital goodies, and bags you 72-hour early access to the game too.
