Baroness Unveil Deluxe Edition of Stone, Add Acoustic Record Store Gigs to Fall Itinerary

Baroness have released a deluxe edition of their latest album, Stone, and added eight acoustic record store performances to their fall tour itinerary.
The in-store gigs will each take place in the afternoon at independent record shops prior to previously announced evening shows in the same or nearby cities. The dates include October 17th (St. Petersburg, Florida, at Daddy Kool Records); October 21st Houston at Cactus Music); October 25th (Mesa, Arizona, at Zia Records); October 31st (Portland, Oregon, at Music Millennium); November 9th (Salt Lake City at Graywhale); November 14th (Minneapolis at Down in the Valley); November 15th (Chicago at Reckless Records); and November 19th (Toronto at Sonic Bloom).
“Independent music stores are a huge part of our musical background,” said Baroness singer-guitarist John Baizley in a press release. “We discovered so much music in them as teenagers; they undoubtedly had a profound effect on all of our development as young artists (they still do). We are thrilled to be able to travel around the East Coast this September to play stripped down sets in some of our favorite shops.”
Fans can get a preview of the upcoming tour dates via six live recordings included on the deluxe edition of Stone, which can be streamed now. The cuts were taken from soundboard recordings from the 2022 “Your Baroness” tour — in which fans chose the setlist — and see the band running through career staples such as “Eula” and “A Horse Called Golgotha,” among others.
