Barbra Streisand is revealing juicy details about her relationship with Marlon Brando.

In her upcoming memoir My Name is Barbra, the showbiz legend, 81, claims Brando propositioned her for sex at a party they attended in 1966, according to Vanity Fair

The late actor allegedly said, “I’d like to f--- you.”

“She turned him down,” the outlet continues, “but they became lifelong friends and phone pals.”

The Yentl director-star also says that Brando’s wife at the time, French Polynesian actress Tarita Teriipaia, was in an adjoining room when he made the proposition.

Vanity Fair teased further details from the tell-all memoir, including Streisand’s memory of her friend calling her to offer a critique of her Oscar-winning performance in the 1968 film Funny Girl. “You were really good, but you run funny,” Brando allegedly told her.

Brando, who died in 2004, was married three times: to Anna Kashfi (from 1957 to 1959), Movita Castaneda (1960 to 1962) and Teriipaia (1962 to 1972).

In a 2012 interview, Streisand told CNN’s Piers Morgan about another time she refused Brando’s advances. The Godfather star, she said, “wanted to take me to the desert, to see the wildflowers [and] sleep over in a ghost town.”

She added, “I was such a nice Jewish girl that I just said, ‘Marlon, I can’t stay overnight with you. I’ll go with you for the day.’”

My Name Is Barbra will also include details about the Brooklyn-born singer’s first time meeting James Brolin, her husband of 25 years. Among Streisand’s reasons for marrying him, Vanity Fair reveals, was that he “has great teeth.”

In a 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show, the A Star Is Born actress recalled for Jimmy Fallon that her opening line to Brolin, 83, upon seeing that he had shaved his head for a role, was “Who f---ed up your hair?”

Streisand also told Fallon about the time the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis offered in 1984 to edit her memoir. However, Streisand hadn’t written one yet due to her busy schedule.

"We had tea, and she was just so lovely," Streisand said of the First Lady.

Of writing the memoir, she added at the time, "I was always busy doing something else, so I would write in the journals, then go on to something else… the pandemic helped me finish the book.”
