Come on, Barbie, let’s go (to an art) party! Keeping the pink-themed momentum going following the massively popular release of the Barbie film this year, McRae Art Studios is hosting an artsy cocktail party.

Visitors can browse original artwork, sip pink beverages and win prizes at the urban Orlando studio space from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 30.

Hosted by Debbie and Brian Miller, the event features works inspired by Barbie and her pals, plus accessories, couture and themes from the toy and movie. Debbie will showcase her “Toying with You” collection, while Brian will highlight his “Let the Fun Be Gin” collection of paintings.

YAY! Tiny Shop will join the festivities with artisan-made, Barbie-themed jewelry and David Lawrence will capture Polaroid portraits.

Other participating artists include Lynn Whipple, John Whipple, Rob Reedy, Fern Matthews, Martha Jo Mahoney, Marlene London, Mimi Hwang, Janas Durkee, Kate Carney and Stephen Bach.

Wear pink or dress up in “Barbiecore” style for the chance to win prizes. When taking a break from shopping and browsing, find a donation bar with pink prosecco, rose wine and sparkling waters, snacks and a special “Mojo Dojo Casa House” area.

If you go: Barbie’s Cocktail Party and Art Show is 5-9 p.m. Sept. 30 at 1000 Arlington St. in Orlando. For more information, visit theymakeartuniversity.com/barbie or mcraeartstudios.com.
