Adam Copeland will defend the gold at AEW Double or Nothing.

On the May 11 episode of AEW Rampage, TNT Champion Adam Copeland challenged Malakai Black to face him in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at AEW Double or Nothing. Black was set to respond on the following episode of AEW Dynamite.

Copeland made his way to the ring on the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, but the House of Black attacked him. The trio overwhelmed Kyle O’Reilly when he tried to make the save. Black then had Buddy Matthews remove Copeland’s wedding ring.

Later in the show, Malakai Black responded to Copeland and accepted the challenge. He stated that Copeland would have to bend the knee to the House of Black if he lost.

WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Double or Nothing as it airs on May 26.
