Barack Obama Talks About Potential Clinton Presidency With Samantha Bee

With less than three months remaining in his presidency, President Obama sat down for an interview on Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.

In hopes of getting younger citizens to hit the voting booths, Obama said, “I would hope that you’d take the same amount of time looking through cat videos on your phone to make sure that democracy’s working.”

Obama also discussed some of the accusations Hillary Clinton would repeatedly have to deal with if she were the first woman to ever be elected as POTUS. The president said, “I think the equivalent will be she’s tired, she’s moody, she’s being emotional.” He went on to say, “When men are ambitious, it’s just taken for granted — ‘of course’ — but when women are ambitious it’s like, ‘Why?’ That theme will continue throughout her presidency, and it will contribute to this notion that she has something to hide.”

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee airs Mondays at 10:30 p.m./9:30 p.m. CT on TBS.
