LeBron James' "The Shop" is getting a presidential client.

Former President Barack Obama is joining James and Maverick Carter Friday (9 EDT/PDT) for a special edition of HBO's "The Shop: Uninterrupted."

Obama tweeted Tuesday about his appearance on the show and noted he'd be talking about the Nov. 3 election.

"In Miami this weekend, I dropped by The Shop to talk with @KingJames and @MavCarter about the NBA bubble, the racial justice movement, and what's at stake over these next seven days," he wrote, adding a link to the More Than a Vote website, which was launched by James and Carter in the aftermath of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor's deaths. The site encourages people to have a voting plan.

The NBA star said it was "such an honor" to have Obama on "The Shop."

"My President giving us the perspective and motivation we need right now. GO VOTE!!!"

A teaser for the episode shows Obama, who's a big basketball fan, ask James about his recent Los Angeles Lakers championship win.

"LeBron James, one more ring, one more trophy," the former president exclaims.

James and Mavericks' "The Shop" premiered in 2018 and has featured guests including Kevin Hart, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill and several NBA stars. They sit around a barbershop and candidly discuss various topics while sometimes getting a haircut.

Non-HBO subscribers can watch the show for free from Oct. 31 to Nov. 28 on and YouTube.

Obama has been keeping busy. Aside from campaigning for Joe Biden, the former president is also releasing a memoir, "A Promised Land," due Nov. 17.

In the first excerpt released Monday in The New Yorker Obama recalled his early days in the White House, publicly negotiating to pass what would eventually become the Affordable Care Act while more privately dealing with a pandemic and experiencing resentment and racist comments from fellow politicians and other Americans.
