“From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year,” the former president tweeted. “If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick.”

Obama chose some of this year’s buzziest hit songs, like “Juice” by Lizzo, “Old Town Road (Remix)” by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, and “Suge” by DaBaby. It was also an R&B- and hip-hop-heavy list that boasted tracks like Summer Walker’s “Playing Games” and Young Thug, J. Cole, and Travis Scott’s “The London.”

Other genres like folk, country, and rock also dotted the list. “Burning” by Maggie Rogers, “Redesigning Women” by the Highwomen, and “Hello Sunshine” from Bruce Springsteen all made the cut.

Obama’s picks also spanned the globe, with artists from around the world represented. He put a spotlight on Jamaica’s Koffee, buzzy Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Spain’s Rosalía, and India’s Prateek Kuhad.

Just yesterday, Obama released his film, television, and literary favorites from this year. Fleabag, The Farewell, Colson Whitehead’s The Nickel Boys, and HBO’s The Watchmen were some of his top picks.

Obama’s music playlist is already earning praise (and hilarious comments) from social media, including from artists who’ve reacted to their songs getting his nod of approval. “I love you so much Mr. Obama,” Lizzo tweeted. “thanks for assisting me with my morning cry.” Her song “Juice” was also on his summer playlist.
