Bandman Kevo Reacts To 15-Year-Old Son’s Untimely Death

Bandman Kevo has confirmed that his teenage son has been killed.

On Sunday (Mar. 31), the Chicago rapper shared the news in an X/Twitter post. “RIP Kevian,” the post read. Over on Instagram, the father then asked his 3.3 million followers to send him information regarding his son’s death. Bandman Kevo uploaded pictures and messages to his IG Story, searching for answers.

He also reposted an article detailing that his teenage son had been “gunned down.” Kevo also claimed that he was having difficulties getting in contact with his son’s mother. “Anybody in Kalamazoo know anything about my son death dm me now,” he typed with a money bag emoji. “Anyone know anything about what happen to my boy, DM me details.” The Shade Room reports that the rapper expressed to them that he “has heard mixed reports about the passing of his young son and is unsure of exactly what happened.”

“He says the relationship with his son was a bit rocky as Kevian’s mother did not want Kevo part of his life. Kevo says he paid child support but believes the mom did not give the son the money he would need to live a stable life,” the report alleges regarding Kevo and his son, Kevian.

Kalamazoo News Channel 3 shared more information about the deadly shooting. On Monday (Apr. 1), the outlet stated that Kevian Rice, listed as 16 years old, died on Easter Sunday. The deadly shooting was allegedly connected to a Facebook Marketplace transaction that went sour. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety stated that Rice was shot and killed around 2:00 PM.
