‘Bama Ninja’ Proposes to Girlfriend on ‘American Ninja Warrior’
Normally it’s just ninjas flying through the air on American Ninja Warrior, but during the Daytona Beach qualifying round, love was also in the air. Casey “Bama Ninja” Suchocki brought his girlfriend, Ashley MacGregor, and while she thought she was just there to cheer him on, he had other plans.
Suchocki and MacGregor have been dating for more than a year, and the ninja is madly in love, saying, “She’s just what they call a bucket filler. She just fills my bucket constantly and makes me happy.” That is why he planned to propose to MacGregor after he completed the course.
Unfortunately, Suchocki went down on the new Wingnuts obstacle. Despite being soaking wet from the fall and disappointed in his performance, he sprang into action. Removing a ring he had tied around his neck, he proposed to MacGregor, who emphatically agreed to marry him.
American Ninja Warrior airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
