'Jackass' star Bam Margera may end up back in handcuffs after he was charged today with trespassing after his drunken tirade in a LA hotel. The reason, he violated the probation in his DUI case.
In legal documents obtained by The Blast, the Los Angeles City Attorney is requesting that the court revoke Margera's probation in his 2018 DUI case.
Margera could be facing possible jail time after prosecutors in his new case asked a judge to arrest him on violation of probation. The LA city attorney office, "prays that a warrant may be issued for the arrest of said defendant(s) and that he may be dealt with according to law." according to the charging document.
Margera plead no contest in his DUI case in April of last year to driving with a blood alcohol level of over .08% or higher.
The former 'Jackass' star was sentenced to three years summary probation, three days of community labor, and he had to enroll and participate in and successfully complete a 3-month licensed first-offender alcohol and other drug education and counseling program.
The Blast first reported, after the hotel incident, Margera had agreed to go to a 60-90 day live-in program rehab with the support of his family. Bam made the decision after sitting down with Dr. Phil.
Margera will most likely enter a not guilty plea today in court, If he found in violation of his probation from his DUI case, Margera could find himself facing significant jail time.
