Bam Margera Continues Public Breakdown As Steve-O Reaches Out to Help

Bam Margera is on a self-destructive downward spiral and now Steve-O is reaching out to help the troubled star.

Beginning Friday night, Bam began posting long, ranting messages on Instagram, attacking his wife, Nikki, and mother, April.

Steve- O commented on one of Bam's post saying, "There is zero mystery regarding what the solution to alcoholism and drug addiction is-- it's the simple things us sober people do. I know you think sobriety is "boring", but I can assure you my life is not boring, and what you're are up to is not "fun" (especially for those of us who actually care about you)."

Steve-O has had his share of issues with drugs in the past but has been sober and clean for more than 10 years.

Bam posted a series of photos on Sunday morning, some of which showed him scribbling in a book. He wrote one centered around the question, "Is Bam crazy?" which prompted another response from Steve-O.

"I’m sorry if it’s frustrating for you that we care enough to keep trying to get through to you, Bam," Steve-O wrote. "It couldn’t be more clear that all of this isn’t OK, and I hope you’ll join me and Novak in recovery before your son loses his dad. And, by the way, none of this looks cool (which is a good thing, because it’s humiliating myself that motivated me to commit myself to a program of recovery). It’s time to give up the fight, and join the winning team. I love you, brother..."

It's unclear what sparked the meltdown with Bam and Nikki, who share 1-year-old son, Phoenix.

Along with photos of long text messages, and handwritten notes, Bam posted video of himself appearing to get kicked off a Southwest flight for drinking too much.

The star's IG feed has been flooded with messages from fans asking Bam to get help.

The "Jackass" star's friends have been posting messages as well, including longtime friend Chris Pontius.

"To Everybody asking the Jackass Guys to help Bam, We are trying and have been, but no matter how loudly help screams his name, it’s up him to want to be better and not somebody who publicly degrades their Wife and Mother and takes accountability for it," Pontius wrote.

He explained, "I wouldn’t write this publicly, but we all get told to go help Bam so much, I might as well answer."

Other stars who have reached out include Brandon Novak and Joe Frantz.
