WEST PALM BEACH — Ballet Palm Beach wraps its season starting tonight at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse when it presents a classic Shakespeare tale of magic and merriment.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is based on the play in which a quarrel between Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the fairies, leads to wildly funny consequences for the denizens of the forest. The action of the ballet is set to the music of Felix Mendelssohn.

Also on the program is an original Ballet Palm Beach work, “Mozart Intermezzo,” which will be performed after “Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

The ballets can be seen at 7 p.m. today, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, and at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $45, and can be bought online at kravis.org or by phone at 561-832-7469.
