Baldwin’s Trump Returns to ‘SNL’ to Celebrate the Year’s Christmas Losers (Video)

Alec Baldwin returned to “SNL” as Donald Trump, just in time to issue a special Christmas message from the White House.

With Cecily Strong’s Melania Trump at his side, Baldwin’s Trump wished the country a merry Christmas.

“That’s right, you can finally say that again, because the War on Christmas is over,” Trump said. “It’ll soon by replaced by the war with North Korea.”

Mirroring the real-life Trump, Baldwin’s version talked about the big gift he claims he’s giving America: The Republican tax plan.

“We’re giving Americans the biggest, fattest tax cut ever,” Trump explained. “It might even make me a real billionaire. Now I can settle down and be presidential — until Don Lemon says something about me on twitter and I tweet the actual N-word.”

He also discussed his excitement for White Santa to come on Christmas Eve, taking presents from Muslims and Mexicans to give to white children.

As the celebration wore on, Trump called his White House staffers and family to bring ornaments to place on his Christmas Tree of Shame, each with a face of people who have left the administration or the government during Trump’s first year in office.

Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Kellyanne Conway first, bringing an ornament featuring the face of former FBI Director James Comey.

“I had to pull a little obstrution-ay of ustice-jay,” Trump said of firing Comey. “Kellyanne, what do you want for Christmas?”

“I want out,” Conway said as she left.

Next up was Aidy Bryant playing Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who brought a pair of ornaments.

“For my ornaments, I brought Sean Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci, whose mangled corpses I stepped over to get this job,” Sanders said.

Next, Trump introduced Mike Pence, played by Beck Bennett — first accidentally calling him “my fall guy.” Baldwin’s Trump asked Pence whether he was decking the halls.

“I don’t like that song because it mentions gay apparel,” Pence replied, “which I assume is a mesh tank top.”

In a surprise appearance, Scarlet Johansson returned to the show to play Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

“Ivanka, you made it, but where’s Jared?” Trump asked.

“He’s packing a go bag before the FBI arrives,” Ivanka told him.

Also joining Trump were his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, played by Mikey Day and Alex Moffat, and Kate McKinnon’s Jeff Sessions, who appeared in the background as an Elf on the Shelf.

“Wait, you’re not secretly recording our conversations, are you Jeff?” Trump asked.

“Don’t worry, I won’t snitch, because I cannot recall who’s been naughty and who’s been nice,” Sessions said.
