The easiest way to crank up the heat on any workout is by adding a little resistance via weights or bands. But if you’re not into lifting heavy dumbbells or using big machines at the gym, you can try wearing a set of Bala Bangles. The fitness accessories are surprisingly stylish wrist and ankle weights that can seriously upgrade your workout. And you can now get them on sale.

In 2020, when working out at home became the norm, Bala Bangles were hard to come by — they pretty much sold out everywhere quick. But now, at luxury activewear store Bandier, you can actually find them on sale for $15 off and in two vibrant colors.

Bala Bangles come in 1/2-pound, 1-pound and 2-pound sizes, but it’s currently the two-pounders that are marked down in select colors (orange and a pink-and-orange print). There aren’t a whole lot of options on sale, but again, Bala Bangles going on sale is a rarity in itself.

You can wear the weights for an at-home pilates class, at a dance class, while taking your dog for a walk or while running errands. Either way, you’ll feel the burn. The 2-pound weights are generally best for low-impact workouts, but you can use them for anything you see fit.

Bala Bangles aren’t new. If you haven’t seen your favorite influencers sporting them, you may have seen them on Shark Tank actually. The Los Angeles-based company created by power couple Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevit appeared on the show in 2020. All five sharks wanted in on Bala, but the company ended up accepting a $900,000 deal with Mark Cuban and Maria Sharapova. So, yeah, they’re kind of a big deal.

If you want to wear them, get them while they’re on sale to strength and tone arms, legs, booty and more.
