BAFTAs: Erik Davis (Fandango) is best Expert

Congratulations to our Expert Erik Davis (Fandango) for a terrific score of 77.27% when predicting the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards winners on Sunday. He is best among 18 journalists who cover the film industry throughout the year. See Experts’ scores.

Over 3,000 people worldwide predicted these movie champs in a London ceremony hosted by David Tennant. Davis got 17 of 22 categories correct. On a night dominated by “Oppenheimer,” some of the biggest long shots included “The Zone of Interest” for foreign film, “Poor Things” for visual effects and “The Boy and the Heron” for animated feature.

Following at 63.64% are Wilson Morales (BlackFilmandTV) and Ray Richmond (Gold Derby). Tied at 59.09% are Shawn Edwards (WDAF), Matt Neglia (Next Best Picture) and Perri Nemiroff (Collider). Up next are Tariq Khan (Gold Derby), Nikki Novak (Fandango), Keith Simanton (IMDb), Jazz Tangcay (Variety) and Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby). Finishing up is Clayton Davis (Variety) at 50.00%.
