There’s something about a creature feature that gives you all you need to know in the title alone. Snakes on a Plane, Eight-Legged Freaks, Sharknado, and now the Bad CGI Gator trailer adds to that by showing us it does indeed contain a bad CGI alligator.

CGI You Later, Alligator

The film, from Full Moon Pictures, embraces the cheap and cheerful low-budget CG monstrosity found in many a quick-fix horror movie and makes it part of the plot with a delightfully ludicrous premise.

Six college grads on spring break get a cabin in the swamplands of Georgia. Once there, they decide to throw their school laptops in a backyard lake in an act of youthful defiance, which unknowingly turns a lurking alligator into the dreaded and insatiable… Bad CGI Gator.

Bad CGI Gator is directed by Danny Draven, written by Zalman Band, and produced by Charles and Zalman Band.

Full Moon is best known for the Puppet Master series but has produced a slew of low-budget shlock horror. Many of which can be watched for free on its YouTube channel.

If you liked the Bad CGI Gator trailer, you’d be happy to know the movie will emerge on Full Moon’s Prime Video Channel on November 24, 2023.
