Bad Bunny dressed up like Shrek and forced his Saturday Night Live co-workers to act out a sequel to the beloved animated franchise in a sketch produced by the show’s Please Don’t Destroy crew.
In what could have doubled as a Halloween episode sketch, Benito suddenly emerges in the Please Don’t Destroy office in full Shrek costume, asking the trio to participate in a reading of his script Shrek: Infinity, starring the ogre, the donkey, Puss in Boots and, for some reason, Michael Jackson.

The potential sequel, produced by A24, involves Donkey being diagnosed with cancer, space travel and Shrek sacrificing himself by manning an escape pod into the sun. “It explode into saying ‘Love,'” Bad Bunny narrates… before throwing the script into the garbage.
Bad Bunny’s episode of SNL, where he served as both host and musical guest, also featured surprise appearances by Pedro Pascal (who translated the monologue), Mick Jagger (playing a nun in a Sister Act parody) and Lady Gaga, who introduced one of the singer’s performances.
