After weeks of unconfirmed teasers and rumors, Bad Bunny has announced the arrival of his fifth solo studio album and the follow-up to his record-smashing “Un Verano Sin Ti.” The newly-announced “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana” (“Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow”) will make its entrance this upcoming Friday, Oct. 13.

These details were confirmed in a luxurious video teaser that the Puerto Rican hitmaker posted on Instagram. In the visual, a masked-up Bad Bunny walks past a crowd of paparazzi and enters a bustling restaurant with characters who stare as he makes his way through the dining area. A worker greets him, and then the camera pans to debut the singer’s new buzzcut hairstyle — reminiscent of the style he had as a trap rapper back in 2018.

In the caption of the post, Bad Bunny writes, “El día más esperado por muchos ya llegó…” (“The day most anticipated by many has arrived…”). On Spotify, the tracklist appears as 22 songs and each one is titled “Fuego” (“Fire”).

The last musical release from Bad Bunny was his feature on Drake’s “For All the Dogs,” and his solo single “Un Preview,” which appears as part of the song’s 22-song tracklist. “Un Preview” was announced on Bad Bunny’s WhatsApp channel (a new feature on the platform where he boasts over 12 million followers). At the time, he said it was possibly his last solo single of the year.

In his latest in-depth interview, Vanity Fair writer Michelle Ruiz alluded to Bad Bunny’s new album coming later this fall though that was never confirmed by the artist or his team. He shared that he was “playing around and enjoying myself, letting go,” when it came to crafting the follow-up to “Un Verano Sin Ti.”

“I’m being inspired a lot by the music of the ’70s’—across genres, in both Spanish and English—’ but I’m not sure if this is going to shape my music, generally or just one song,” he said.

Bad Bunny also recently appeared at the Billboard Latin Music Awards to accept numerous accolades, including artist of the year (for the third year in a row), and to deliver a live medley of hits and his new singles. Sporting overalls and a giant diamond-incrested cowboy boot chain, Bad Bunny ran through “Moscow Mule,” “Titi Me Pregunto,” “Neverita,” “Me Porto Bonito,” “Where She Goes,” and his latest, “Un Preview.”
