VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Venerable rockers George Thorogood and The Destroyers, best known for “Bad to the Bone” and “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” are playing in Virginia Beach on Friday night.

The group is on its Bad All Over The World – 50 Years of Rock Tour, celebrating more than five decades of blues and boogie rock. The group’s performed more than 8,000 times, including at Live Aid and Saturday Night Live, and has opened for the Rolling Stones and Muddy Waters.

“People may love our records, but our live performances leave the ultimate impression,” Thorogood said. “We’re all blue-collar guys; if we don’t kick ass on stage every night, it’s back to working at the car wash.”

Tickets for Friday’s show at 8 p.m. were as low as $60 as of Friday morning. To buy tickets and read more, click here.
