‘The Bad Batch’: Everything You Need to Know About the New Animated ‘Star Wars’ Show

The galaxy far, far away is beginning to expand on Disney+. The House of Mouse’s streaming service will premiere its latest original “Star Wars” television series on May 4, 2021.

Titled “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” the new series will follow the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. The troopers will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

Disney first announced “The Bad Batch” back in July 2020. The series will mark the franchise’s second animated show to premiere exclusively on Disney+ following the seventh and final season of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” which premiered on the streaming service in February 2020.
