Backstreet Boys Call Out Drake on Twitter: Before There Was ‘Hotline Bling,’ There Was ‘The Call’
Drake may be owning the charts with “Hotline Bling” right now, but the Backstreet Boys want 2015’s biggest rapper to remember that he didn’t invent the telecommunications-oriented love song. Specifically, they took to Twitter to remind him about their 2001 hit “The Call,” which remains a high point of the genre.
