'Bachelorette' star Rachel Lindsay reveals her thoughts on Arie, who she's rooting for to win the final rose

If you’re in love with Rachel Lindsay as much as The Morning Breath is, you’re in luck. The Season 13 Bachelorette and newly engaged 32-year-old will be making an appearance next week with the premiere of The Bachelor Winter Games. While abstaining from the competition itself, the Dallas native will be judging a competition alongside JoJo Fletcher and this year’s Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr.

“I was Judgy McJudgy. I was the Simon, let’s just put it that way,” laughs Lindsay. “Would you expect anything less?” the soon-to-be-bride asked Claudia and Jackie Oshry.

While the beloved former single girl admits that she wasn’t originally keeping up with Arie’s season, she reveals, “I met him for the first time doing the Winter Games thing, and I was like, ‘All right, let’s see what this Arie is about,’ because I [didn’t] watch his season, so I [didn’t] know anything about him.”

Luyendyk’s first impressions of his fellow judge played well. “I like Arie. You know I would tell you if I didn’t,” adds Lindsay.

Recalling their first interaction, the civil attorney admits, “[Arie’s] very sweet, very charming, and I was like, ‘I’m excited to watch your season now.’”

Now a fan of the Season 22 Bachelor, Lindsay hopes to see the 36-year-old find love and even has a front-runner in mind. “I want to watch it the first time like a viewer.” She adds, “I’m all in.”

Who is she rooting for to take home the final rose? “I like Seinne. I really, really like her.”
