Things get awkward for Clare and Brandon.
After last week's premiere of The Bachelorette, the only thing I remember about Brandon — the 28-year-old real estate agent from Chicago — is that he was the only guy to kiss Clare on the cheek after exiting the limo. In this exclusive clip of tomorrow's episode, it looks like Brandon makes an effort to distinguish himself... and then falls flat on his face.
As we know, rose lovers, week two is all about getting to know the guys on the keep pile. "I could not be more excited to have this group of guys here," says the Bachelorette, as she sits down for a chat with Brandon. He starts off on a good note — "When I found out you were the Bachelorette, I had to be here." — but when Clare presses him to elaborate on why he wants to date her, Brandon's got nothing. Like, nothing.

Seriously, bro? Was your Google broken? It doesn't take an expert on female psychology to know that women like it when you at least pretend to know and care about something other than their looks. Anyhow, it's real awkward. Something tells me that Brandon won't be able to salvage his chances of getting a rose with another kiss on the cheek. Watch the clip above and let me know if you agree.
