‘Bachelorette’ Katie Thurston Is Hiding Who She Really Likes In Plain Sight

• The Bachelorette Katie Thurston is making very real connections with contestants and one in particular.

• Eagle-eyed fans noted an Easter egg of a bracelet she wore on her group date that could belong to two different contestants.

• Katie and Greg Grippo shared quality time in their one-on-one date first, and fans think her new accessory is a sign he could have her heart.

Week two of The Bachelorette was an emotional one for Katie Thurston. She repeatedly talked about her late father during her camping one-on-one date with Greg Grippo, and he later opened up about losing his father. The two teared up together and found a genuine bond in their shared experience.

Well, it seems like Greg has really captured Katie’s heart, because some people have noticed that Katie was wearing a bracelet that appears to be Greg’s on her group date.

Here’s the tea: Greg wore a dark-colored, wooden beaded bracelet on his date with Katie, which was clearly visible when he did sweet things like put his arm around her. Katie was spotted wearing that exact same bracelet (or something really, really similar) during her group date afterward.

That seems like it matches up. But, there's yet another possible explanation. This bracelet could belong to Hunter Montgomery, who also seems to have an early connection with Katie.

Sure enough, Hunter has a similar bracelet. “It’s been brought to my attention that the bracelet could also belong to @hmontgomery. He’s wearing the bracelet in his casting headshot. Take a look at his profile to see the pic!!!!!” wrote Instagrammer Justin Takes the Bach. (Take a peek at Hunter and all the rest of the contestants here.)

In a follow-up post, Justin Takes the Bach noted that Hunter liked his comment about the bracelet potentially being his. “So I’m pretty sure that the bracelet is Hunters. Care to comment, @thekatiethurston?” he wrote.

Could this all be a total coincidence? For sure. (It's not uncommon for contestants to share fashion. Remember the salmon jacket?) Are people freaking out over it? Most definitely. Evidence:

Sure, this bracelet could technically belong to Hunter. If it did, he must have slipped it to Katie on the DL. TBH, it seems more likely that it would be Greg’s given how much attention The Bachelorette has given him already. There's clearly a connection, and they had some solid one-on-one time before that group date.

There's always the less interesting possibility that multiple contestants happen to have the same accessory.

I prefer to see it as a solid indication of where Katie’s heart is right now...
