'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown confronts contestant over 'red flags'

On The Bachelorette Monday night, Hannah Brown had no choice but to confront Luke P. about his recent behavior. Just weeks after getting the First Impression rose, Luke was acting as if he’d already won, and Hannah was beginning to get a whole new impression of him.

“There have just been some little red flags about how he carries himself that bother me a little bit,” Hannah said speaking to the producers. “It’s this fine line of like, I really think it’s attractive to, like, it’s the most unattractive thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

So Hannah pulled Luke aside and spoke to him about not respecting her other relationships and trying to flaunt his relationship with her in front of the other guys.

“I feel like your confidence in this kind of makes me irritated in a way,” Hannah told Luke, later adding, “I like confidence, but it’s, like, cocky in a way. I don’t like that at all. I want it to change.”

But Luke continued to irritate Hannah, sulking and repeatedly interrupting conversations she was having with other guys. But it should come as no surprise that Luke didn’t get the hint.

“Hannah told me that she’s irritated with how I’m acting. I’m coming off arrogant and just too confident, and I don’t feel like I’ve been acting that way,” Luke said to the producers shortly after his conversation with Hannah. “I don’t see her seeing me like that. It doesn’t make sense to me. I just wanna continue to move on. I’m gonna act like the conversation never happened.”

It appears Hannah will need to have another conversation with Luke in the future — maybe about his self-awareness.
