‘Bachelorette’ Alum Ivan Hall Is Engaged to Girlfriend Tailour Roberson: ‘It Felt Like We Were Destined to Be Together’

He found The One! Ivan Hall is engaged to Tailour Roberson, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal. "I can truly say that being engaged feels amazing!" Hall, 31, exclusively told Us. "It's a mixture of excitement, joy and anticipation for what the future holds." Bachelor Nation met the Texas native on The Bachelorette season 16, where Clare Crawley was the lead before Tayshia Adams took over. He later joined Bachelor in Paradise season 7. After he wrapped up his time in the franchise, he reconnected with Roberson. "We've known each other for a long time and have always ended up finding our way back to each other," Hall exclusively told Us. "When she happened to move to Dallas after medical school to work as an anesthesiologist, it felt like we were destined to be together." The aeronautical engineer popped the question in downtown Dallas on Saturday, March 11, at 6 p.m. The doctor happily said yes, and Hall can't wait to spend the rest of his life with the bride-to-be. "I realized that she was not only my best friend, but also the person who made me feel happiest and most fulfilled in life," Hall explained to Us. "She supported me through the good times and the bad, and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her." Hall decided it was time to ask Roberson to marry him in late 2022, but first, he had to find the right ring. "I went to Keyzar, which is an online jewelry store. They assisted me in creating the perfect ring for Tailour. I got her the Low Profile Kamellie ring with a 4-carat oval diamond," he told Us. Luckily, Roberson gave her man a few not-so-subtle hints about her taste in jewelry. "I knew what style she liked from all of the DMs she would send me on Instagram," Hall quipped. With the diamond acquired, it was time to start planning the actual proposal. The groom-to-be presented his love with both a new ring and a new car. "When planning the proposal, I wanted to make sure it was personalized and meaningful to Tailour. I got her a beautiful ring and also surprised her with a brand new 2023 Tesla Model Y performance to replace her old college car," Hall told Us. "Our families helped me organize everything and I hired the best Dallas wedding photographer, Kerstin Jenkins, to capture the moment." Hall added that their videographer for the engagement was Susie Evans, who was on season 26 of The Bachelor and dated lead Clayton Echard for several months. Though they're still enjoying the excitement of getting engaged, Hall and Roberson are anxious to start planning their nuptials. "Wedding planning will start soon! We're both excited to start thinking about the details," Hall said. "We haven't finalized anything yet, but we both have some ideas in mind for the location, theme and overall vibe of the wedding. We just can't wait to celebrate our love with our friends and family!"Sign up for Us Weekly's free, daily newsletter and never miss breaking news or exclusive stories about your favorite celebrities, TV shows and more!
