Bachelor in Paradise alums Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin tied the knot over the weekend after finding love on the beach two years ago.

Braasch, 42, and Pepin, 27, got married Saturday during an intimate wedding ceremony held at Hacienda Don Carmelo in Puerto Rico. The pair got engaged during the season seven finale of ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise that aired in October 2021.

Prior to the ceremony, the couple enjoyed festivities at the Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar. “All I’ve heard is how much our guests love this place, the staff, the amenities, and just how they had such a great time, which was so important to us,” Pepin, who has family in Puerto Rico, said about the Hyatt in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “We honestly couldn’t have picked a better home for our wedding weekend!”

The day before the ceremony, Pepin posted photos to her Instagram account from the rehearsal dinner. “So excited to have our families together in Puerto Rico,” she wrote in the caption.

Pepin, a marketing director who was named Miss Maryland USA in 2019, was initially a contestant on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor that aired in 2021. Braasch, a boy band manager, first appeared on the 2020 season of The Bachelorette that featured Clare Crawley and then Tayshia Adams.

The seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise has led to a number of still-thriving couples. Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, who also got engaged during the season’s finale, were wed last fall, while Becca Kurfrin and Thomas Jacobs split up on the show but tied the knot last month after welcoming a son in September. Additionally, season six alums Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert got married in Colorado in September.

Season nine of Bachelor in Paradise is currently airing on ABC.
