The Bachelor Nation stars tied the knot Sunday evening in Rhode Island, nearly four years after the couple first met on the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise."
Ashley and Jared's road to love was not smooth, but it is Bachelor Nation's very own rom-com (with a lot of tears) and a happy ending. Trying to recap their relationship in this story would not do it justice. Let's just say it was love at first sight for Ashley, but not so much for Jared.
Ashley shed many tears on her way to the altar, and in fact her crying was so infamous that the "BIP" star was featured in a "cry count" from the season when she tried to win Jared's heart, but he was intent on trying to see other people. However, through all the ugly crying they managed to remain friends and, in the end, Ashley got her man.
In addition to the friends and family present at the wedding were many of their previous castmates from Bachelor Nation, including Nick Viall and Dean Unglert. Tanner Tolbert, who had originally planned to officiate, and Jade Roper, the couple's closest friends from Bachelor in Paradise, were forced to miss the festivities as Jade recently gave birth to their second child in their master closet.
Jared recently posted on his Instagram, "Love works in mysterious ways." Amen, Jared, Amen.
