“Bachelor in Paradise” preview: The Truth Box targets Tyler

In Paradise, the truth never sets you free.

Do not ask for whom the Bachelor in Paradise Truth Box tolls — eventually, it tolls for everyone on that accursed beach.

This week, Tyler Norris — the baby-faced 27-year-old who's been paired up with Mercedes for most of the season — finds himself the target of a nasty Truth Box accusation. In this exclusive preview of Thursday's episode, Paradise's bartender/de facto therapist opens the Truth Box yet again to read a handful of the anonymous notes. One claims that "everybody knows" Tyler is "not that into Mercedes" — an allegation that leaves him shook.

Uh-oh. Naturally, Mercedes is quite upset by the note as well. "That Truth Box really came at me," she says with a sigh. "Maybe he's just not my person." Watch the full clip above.

I have questions, rose lovers. Does Mercedes know that Tyler kissed Jess a few episodes ago, when Jess was still "exploring" other "options" before going back to Blake? Something tells me she's going to find out this week, and she will NOT love it. Also, is it just me, or does Tyler radiate F-boy vibes, like in an "I'm an F-boy dressed in nice guy clothing" kind of way? Then again, I suppose you could say that about any human being who signs up to be on Bachelor in Paradise.
