Bachelor Nation is super upset about the new 'Bachelor'

And the next Bachelor is … Peter Weber!

Weber was revealed to be the man looking for love in the reality’s show’s upcoming 24th cycle during the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise Tuesday night.

"I feel so grateful right now just to have this opportunity in front of me. I feel, like, emotional, right now," Weber told host Chris Harrison. "This is life-changing. I have truly, you know, my entire life looked forward to finding, you know, my girl, and that person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with."

Weber came in third place during Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette earlier this year. Just to jog your memory — Weber was the one who had windmill sex with Hannah, not once, not twice, but four times.

So you'd think Bachelor Nation would be super excited for some scandalous behavior in the upcoming season. Think again.

Viewers were very unhappy about Weber being the new Bachelor, because almost everyone was hoping it'd be Mike Johnson. However, Johnson has recently been linked to singer and actress Demi Lovato. He has got no time for 25 women.

Meanwhile, Weber told Harrison Tuesday night, "Hannah was amazing. She is amazing. I learned a ton from her, and I think what I really respect about her the most was from night one with that first toast 'til the very end when I say goodbye to her, she was one hundred percent unapologetically herself, and I love that. And that's something that I definitely wanna carry forward with my journey now."

Unlike the bachelors before him, Weber lives just five minutes away from the Bachelor mansion. "This is crazy. I used to try to sneak onto the mansion, about ten years ago, when I was in high school, when you guys were shooting there. And now, opening night, I'm gonna be there with limos coming in and meeting however many women. That's crazy to me," Weber shared with Harrison.

As for advice to all the women he will be dating, Weber said, "Show me that vulnerable, raw side from the beginning. If you're feeling it with me, if you're starting to fall, tell me. If you're pissed at me, I did something wrong, tell me. Don't hold back. Wear that heart on your sleeve, and I promise you, if you do that, I will give it right back 100 percent. This is going to be one of the most beautiful love stories ever, and I just can't wait for it to begin."

Season 24 of The Bachelor premieres Jan. 6, 2020 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
