Bachelor Nation in Fury After Mike Johnson Not Named as New 'Bachelor'

Bachelor Nation has spoken and they are not happy with ABC for not casting Mike Johnson as the first African-American 'Bachelor.'

After Peter Weber -- who shinned for having sex with Hannah Brown FOUR times in a windmill -- was named as head hunk, fans wasted no time slamming the network on their decision.

The Fans Aren't Happy

Several devoted "Bachelor" fans are expressing their frustrations on social media.

Some are even threatening to boycott the beloved franchise.

"After Chris Harrison announced Peter as the new Bachelor, instead of MIKE JOHNSON," one user tweeted and shared a "SpongeBob" meme reading "IGHT IMMA HEAD OUT."

Lots of fans are labeling ABC "racist" and shamming them on their decision to choose a white guy as the new "Bachelor," instead of fan favorite Mike.

"The reason Mike Johnson, was not picked as the next #TheBachelor, is due to the Color of his skin. Being black, is a crime, in the Bachelor Franchise’s world," a fan wrote.

"@BachelorABC no longer will watch the show could have made history by making mike johnson the first black bachelor instead we get windmill pete," said another.

Shame on Chris Harrison!

ABC isn't only catching heat.

The host of the franchise, Chris Harrison, is getting the brunt of the fan hate too.

"Why isn't Mike Johnson The freakin' bachelor? Peter is as interesting as a hyperventilating llama. Someone call Chris Harrison's mom and file a formal complaint," a viewer tweeted.

Make Way For Demi!

The only upside to Pete being labeled as the "Bachelor" is that it opens the door for Mike to start dating Demi Lovato.

He's been heavily flirting with the singer on social media ever since getting kicked off "Bachelorette" last season.

Mike's slid into Demi's comments several times, but most recently, on her bikini picture where she owned her cellulite. She reciprocated the love by double-tapping his shirtless photo.

There's even rumors that they already went on their first date.

Mike + Demi Forever!

Fans are taking note of this one plus and praying their dream couple makes it work.

Hey, if Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron can do it, so can Demi and Mike!

Peter's Pick:

ABC revealed the 33 ladies who will be competing for Peter's love this coming season.

There's blondes, brunettes and women of all races, but they have one thing in common. They are all the same size.

Check out who steals Pilot Pete's heart when "The Bachelor" season 24 airs on ABC January 6th.
