“Bachelor” Host Jesse Palmer and Wife Emely Fardo Welcome Their First Baby, a Girl

The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer, 45, has welcomed his first baby, a girl, with wife Emely Fardo, 34, announcing the exciting news on his Instagram.

“Our worlds have been forever changed… ,” he began in a joint social media post with his spouse on Wednesday before revealing the name of their new family member.

“She’s finally here… ELLA REINE PALMER 💕Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude… ,” the sweet message continued.

For Ella’s introduction to the world, the proud parents posted a selfie of themselves smiling together as Fardo held their resting bundle of joy against her chest. The baby girl wore a pink onesie for the photo.

In August, Palmer and Fardo exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that they were expecting their first baby together.

“I have two brothers and four nephews, so we are finally getting a female addition to the Palmer family!” Palmer told PEOPLE. “Emely has always wanted a daughter and she is so maternal by nature, I’ve always known that she is going to be the best mom.”

The model couldn’t wait to meet her little girl. “I’m so excited to share life with our daughter, take her on fun adventures and share with her the lessons this life has taught us,” she added.

At the time, Fardo told PEOPLE that she was feeling "really good up to this point” in her pregnancy.

“I’m working out daily and my appetite has increased exponentially, which I’m not complaining about!” she shared.

After the exclusive interview was posted, the couple shared the photos from the pregnancy shoot to their Instagram accounts.

“We’ve been keeping a secret… our family is growing and our hearts are so full! This is a dream come true for us and we’re so thrilled to be welcoming our baby girl in January 2024,” they captioned a joint upload.

Palmer and Fardo started dating in 2017 and got engaged in Paris in July 2019. They quietly tied the knot in tied the knot in Connecticut in June 2020 after canceling their planned wedding in Provence, France due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In July 2022, Fardo revealed on Instagram that she and the Holiday Baking Championship host said “I do” again at Château De La Gaude, a luxury hotel in Aix-en-Provence, France. Regardless of the size of their initial wedding, Palmer and Fardo said they “feel so grateful and lucky to have found each other!"
