'Bachelor' Host Chris Harrison Treats Girlfriend Lauren Zima To An Amazing Birthday

Bachelor host Chris Harrison and Entertainment Tonight reporter Lauren Zima have been together for over a year now, and it seems he still knows how to properly pamper her. Zima took to Instagram to share a photo taken by Harrison of herself lounging on a private jet.

In the caption, she wrote, “It’s my birthday. My bday is always pretty close to thanksgiving, but this year the two days were just a few apart, and I’ve been reflecting and feeling so grateful. The past two years have brought major ups and downs and big changes, at work and in my personal life,” she wrote.

“I’m a big believer in being positive, embracing change and seeing life as an adventure, not a struggle,” Zima continued. “Our journeys are measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. I am so thankful for the people I love and so proud of the person I’m working to become.”

The photo didn’t specify where the private plane was taking to couple off to, but Harrison later shared a photo of Zima shopping in a Louis Vuitton store. On his Instagram, he wrote, “I think we need some major sucking up...Not me. Her! Happy birthday @laurenzima an amazing beautiful woman who can turn any sentence into a full blown musical.”

The couple celebrating their one-year anniversary in August. Zima shared a photo at the time of the couple kissing. “Happy anniversary,” she wrote. “In this year I’ve leaned on you, laughed with you and fallen in love with you for the incredible man that you are. Thank you for adding to my life with your positivity, perspective and patience, and for supporting me in becoming exactly who I want to be. Thank you for being a source of joy, and for knowing that life is good when love is easy. Oh, and big thanks for the copious amounts of wine.”

The two have known each other for years. Zima reports about The Bachelor frequently on Entertainment Tonight, but she never saw Harrison in a romantic light. She explained on The Viall Files podcast how that changed.

“It was always incredibly professional Not in a negative way … but I never looked at him and ever considered [if] I found him attractive,” she said.

“He just gave me a different vibe,” Zima continued. “It was fairly overt. He mentioned something about picking his kids up or something. He somehow brought up being single, I think. And then I said something like, ‘I’m single now,’ and he was like,’ Oh.’ But I said it in a more eloquent way. God, I don’t know. Somehow it was communicated … I opened the door and he walked through.”
