That means the show that started it all, ABC’s “The Bachelor,” is back and airing during the usual Monday night time slot again.
And this season, three south Florida women are competing for a chance at love. There were originally five contestants from south Florida, but two Miami women, Samantha and Kyra, were sent home on the first night.
Last week, the 28th season of the beloved reality show kicked off. And although every season of the show is allegedly “the most dramatic season yet” – according to Jesse Palmer, and Chris Harrison before him – this season might actually become the most dramatic yet.

Missed the premiere episode? Here's what happened:
There were three women that sparked the most conversation from "Bachelor" fans on X (formerly Twitter) while the first episode aired last week. Two of them are sisters, two years a part, that came to the show together. Allison Hollinger, 26, and Lauren Hollinger, 28, came from Philadelphia to date Joey and decided they would keep the fact that they're siblings a secret.
Before the night ended, the two ended up rounding up as many women as they could to tell them that they are sisters. The women, like Joey and most watching along at home, seem curious to find out what will happen between the two as they date the same man.
Lauren was one of the last to get a rose from Joey, but her younger sister, Allison, was one of the first. Lauren was seen whispering an expletive to her sister, upset that her little sister got a rose first.
Fans also zeroed in on Jess Edwards as season 28's "villain." Jess snagged the first kiss of the night and immediately announced the news to the other women, which ruffled feathers. She later interrupted another woman's private conversation with Joey, even though she'd already gotten one-on-one time with him and the first kiss of the night.
Toward the end of the night, Graziadei gave his First Impression Rose to Lea Cayanan, who he was first introduced to during the “After the Final Rose” taping during last season’s “Bachelorette” finale.
When the mysterious sealed envelope that host Jesse Palmer handed months ago revealed she could steal a "one-on-one date" from any girl, she declined the game-changing advantage and burned the envelope in front of the women. Graziadei praised her for her character, leading to his decision to give her the rose.

How did the five Florida women do on night one of 'The Bachelor'?
The premiere episode saw five South Florida made their way to the mansion; Jenn Tran, Samantha Washington, Kyra Brusch, Starr Skylar and Marlena Haddad.
The Florida women certainly made an impression with the lead from the second they stepped out of the limo. Washington threw a handful of dough to complete a corny pick-up line ("I knead you to be with me") to Brusch literally screaming in his face.
However, one contestant from Miami really stood out amongst the entire group — Tran, a physician assistant student.
Ditching the typical limp entrance, she arrived to the mansion in a go kart and did donuts on the driveway. After parking the kart, she told Graziadei, “When I found out you were the bachelor, I had to race over here so quick from Miami. I want to let you know that every day with me will be an adventure, and we’ll always have a good time.”
Graziadei also strapped himself into in a go-kart later in ther night and the two raced around the mansion. After some racing, they sat down to chat and get to know each other more. Tran admitted she took a break from physician assistant school to film the show since he was the lead.
The conversation ended with a kiss between the pair, the second kiss of the night.
Of the five women, Joey said goodbye to two — Samantha and Kyra.
