'Bachelor' Creator Mike Fleiss And The Craziest Scandals From 'The Bachelor' And 'The Bachelorette'

It's hard to believe that these people are real.

Mike Fleiss And His Wife

"Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" creator Mike Fleiss is currently embroiled in an intense he-said/she-said with his estranged wife, Laura.

She claims he attacked her while she was pregnant. He responded by claiming it was her who attacked himhttps://theblast.com/c/mike-fleiss-bachelor-denies-abuse-allegations, and that now she has disappeared with their son.

Current Show Drama

While the Feiss drama is much more serious than most of what comes out of the shows, it's safe to say that appearing on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor brings out the messy side of people.

Current Bachelorette Hannah B is contending with her fair share of clashes with entitled dudes (as well as some drama behind the scenes), so let's take a look at how past contestants have handled the spotlight.

Dear reader, they did not handle it well.

Colton's Big Jump

After Cassie Randolph was unsure about her feelings, Bachelor Colton Underwood fled the scene, jumping over a fence to get away from the crew and cameras. While the star of the 23rd season did end up getting the girl, the two are nowhere near getting engaged.

Garrett's Instagram Habits

Before you go on a reality TV show, it's best to completely scrub your social media and closely monitor your online habits because people will find all your dirt. This happened to Garrett Yrigoyen, who was liking racist and homophobic memes, posts that mocked Parkland survivors, and anti-immigration rhetoric on Instagram. Yikes, dude.

Arie's Brutal Break Up

Arie Luyendyk Jr. was no one's favorite Bachelor, and his post-finale behavior is a piece to the puzzle. Despite choosing Becca Kufrin in the finale, he ended up breaking up with her after the show and proposing to runner-up Lauren Burnham on the After The Rose Show instead.

Corinne And DeMario In Not-So-Paradise

DeMario Jackson was an absolute mess on The Bachelorette for a number of reasons, but his worst incident was saved for Bachelor In Paradise, when a producer filed a sexual misconduct complaint after an encounter that he had with Corrine Olympios. No evidence of wrongdoing was found and the two made their peace.

Nick's Whole Deal

After returning to Bachelor Nation a number of times to stir the pot, Nick Viall did get his shot at being the Bachelor. However, things got awkward when it was revealed that he had previously hooked up with contestant Liz Sandoz at Jade and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding. At first he didn't remember her (yikes) and he eventually voted her out of the Bachelor mansion.

Chris' Arrest

Former Bachelor Chris Soules ran afoul of the law after his time in Bachelor Nation when he fled the scene of a fatal car crash in April 2017. He was eventually arrested, pleading not guilty to a felony charge.

Peter's Break Up

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay may have made the wrong choice in the season 13 finale. When she broke up with fan-favorite contestant Peter Kraus, fans were devastated by the emotional intensity of the moment. Rachel told him that she loved him and then chose someone else because Peter wasn't ready for marriage yet.
